Empires Plot

Witajcie, I decided to create this thread to introduce and illustrate the story and plot thus far in the stage of release. I'll continue adding to this post as more content is released. For now I'll go over what has been seen in Empires, the first campaign.

Empires is a story about the rise and fall of mighty nations on the brink of war. This campaign depicts the fall of one empire and illustrates the birth of a new more powerful empire. The first chapter, The Last Stand, kicks off the campaign with a battle between an elite force of heroes and the Imperial Army. The first few chapters were created to bridge the gap between the second campaign and the first one. Now, because the first campaign takes place after the second one, it may get confusing for some readers. The second and third chapters go on to the Imperial island north of Karthak and Nafdaz. These chapters are key in the plot of Empires because the first Empire is defeated in the third chapter. This however does not end the evil; there is corruption in the new government. The Alliances across the Trydium Sea were the ones responsible for defeating the Empire. These four kingdoms (Kilk, Junot, Bemor, Vondor) unite to form a more powerful kingdom known as Kilvonotemor. Ironically, this new superpower is twisted by corruption and launches a global assault on the planet (Chapters 4 to 10).

Later on in the campaign, Kilvonotemor meets its demise as the government reforms itself into the second Empire. However, this newly formed empire is more powerful than the first and gathers more power as time goes on. In Chapter 11: A New Enemy, the Empire has completely taken over the United Kingdoms and switches its attention to the Izuzi Empire in the northern hemisphere. The Asian kingdom proves to be a challenging opponent for the Empire. Chapter 15: New Dawn Rising marks the end of the Izuzi Empire. The calm before the storm is short lived on Akitazahstan as the Imperial Army invades the sandy soils of Barran. In the end, Akitazahstan is inevitably defeated and the Empire has ultimately taken over the world.
